Narcotics Anonymous is a non-profit organization whose sole intent is to help people struggling with drug addiction to recover. Today, Narcotics Anonymous is worldwide, helping addicts and people dependent on chemicals to find lasting recovery. It's program of recovery is based upon the spiritually based, 12 steps of Alcoholics Anonymous. Here is a link to find an NA Narcotics Anonymous Meeting Narcotics Anonymous was founded in the late 1940's. It came about as a direct result of AA being for alcohol.
